How many bytes make a kilo-byte with Afrihost?  Some ISPs count 1024 bytes as a kilo-byte wheras other consider 1000 to be a kilo-byte.

Bits and Bytes both measureamounts of data. However, they are typically used in two different contexts. Bits, kilobits (Kbps), and megabits (Mbps) are most often used to measure data transfer speeds. ... The other important difference is that bytescontain eight bits of data.
