RAIN LTE-A unrestricted access with Huawei B618 DMZ?

Connecting my PC, via ethernet port, to  the RAIN LTE-A Huawei B618 router and setting on the router DMZ my PC's local IP.

Will hosting services being run on my PC be accessible via the public IP of the router?

I have had some issues in the past with restriced mobile connections.

Hi Dravoc

The answer to your question is no, the hosting services running on your local machine will not be publicly available via the public IP address of your router.

A De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) is a special local network configuration designed to improve security by segregating computers on each side of a firewall.
DMZ setup is not capable of resolving or translating common names to IP addresses in the same way DNS servers do since this is simply a security tool.

Thank you.
