Its actually pretty simple :) You need not worry about too much, Afrihost takes care of 90% of the process.

You can transfer your ADSL line from Telkom onto Afrihost’s managed ADSL Service. We manage the line on your behalf to Telkom, so that you can enjoy reliable ADSL with a high level of customer service.

1. On our website, click on ADSL Broadband> ADSL Lines. From here you will need to select the current speed of your ADSL line (we cannot process upgrades during the transfer).

2. You will then need to either create a new account (ClientZone Profile) or enter your existing ClientZone details.

3. Enter your ADSL details. Please note that the Afrihost account holder should be the same person as the Telkom account holder.

4. Proceed to Payment Details.

We will then transfer the line from Telkom to Afrihost. There will be no interruption of ADSL service while this is in process.

SMS help to 32541 and Afrihost will call you.  It will be cheaper and Afrihost will fight with Telkom when you have a problem.
