Domain renewal / deletion

Hi folks, I recently just paid for another year of domain renewal on a particluar site, I am currentlly not using the site and wont be for some time.

Question : If I chose not to host it all for the moment, will it still be mine (nobody else can use it) for the next year ?

If the domain has been renewed you are still the registrant at the registrar. So whether you have any hosting attached to the domain or not, the domain itself is your property (which you can sell if you choose). Once you have decided on a hosting product that you'd like to use (web hosting, pointing or parking) then you can simply update the DNS records at the registrar to point to wherever your hosting resides.
