New Huawei B315 router but I cant connect to the Internet : error message - your connection is not private

I bought a Huawei B315 and MTN simcard through your online ordering system.  I have

1) inserted the sim card into the device:

2) received an e-mail to say that my SIM is now active on the Afrihost network (this was at 1pm today)

3) changed the APN settings on 192.168.8.1

4) connected my tablet to the Wi Fi Device

When I try to open a webpage, it says that my connection is not pricate / I am not connected to the internet and need to log in.

Any idea what the problem could be ?

Hey Claire

This message is because you are not getting a secure SSL connection. Try using Icognito mode and if that doesn't help try removing any browser add-ons you don't need or use.

Also ensure that your OS and browser updates are up to date.

What's the browser on your tablet? How do you connect your desktop with the Huawei B315?

Maybe you should try hiring a private detective for this? I had to contact a private detective company with a similar goal. It really helped me.
