Why am I being billed R999 off the bat for a fibre line ? Said nothing about this when taking it on

I just signed up for a 10meg uncapped fibre Line . It showed everything is free until the internet works and then I’ll be billed ? Now they sent me a mail of R999 needs to come off now ?
