Want a Afrihost recommended LTPT (Static IP) router but don't want it to have wireless as we have Access Points already.

Please can you recommend one that will defiantly work with the Static IP address setting for Afrihost as I will plan on buying two. also i know most of these you might be able to disable the wireless but that still has overheads on the router.

The router that we recommend is the ZyXEL SBG3300-N Router. If you don't want to use the wireless feature on this router you would need to disable it and use your APN for wireless connection. This would be very easy to do because as you configure your router for the basic set up, the last steps are about configuring your Wifi settings, you can just disable it from when the set up starts for wireless connection.

Hi, As part of the question i did mention that i didn't want the option to just disable the wireless. The overhead of having it and not using does not make finical sense.

Please can you recommend an Afrihost compatible router that will work with L2TP that does not have Wireless.

many thanks
Hi Brett, i don't this Afrihost has a router that works with a Statis IP that doesn't have wireless. I had to buy one from them and all they had was the ZyXEL SBG3300-N Router which comes with wireless. You can search for suppliers elsewhere but i had an issue with Afrihost not being able to support the device. They couldn't setup the static IP on my router i got elsewhere and it was so much of a hustle i ended up just buying theirs.
