For the verification process, Afrihost will deposit R1 into your bank account and will add a unique verification code in the transaction description, this is visible in your bank statement.
To verify your banking details, you need to give us the unique verification code (VC) on your bank statement.
To find this code, you may need to download your bank statement as some mobile banking apps don't show very small transactions.
Please locate this payment and the verification code.
The R1 payment is deposited minutes after you update your payment details and usually reflects within 30mins.
The code will be in the description of the transaction after your Afrihost account number.
This is what it will look like on your statement - AFRIHOST A123456789 D573.
The verification code is the last 3 to 8-character code, after your Afrihost account number: A123456789 D573.
In some cases, the code will appear before your Afrihost account number: D573 A123456789
Once you’ve located your unique verification code, please complete your account verification by logging into your Client Zone and following the steps below:
- Login to your [Client Zone](https://clientzone.afrihost.com/)
- Click on Billing
- Click on Verify Payment Details
- Click on Verify to the right of the account you wish to verify.
- Type in your unique verification code
