wirelesss router not working

My wireless router hasn't worked properly since last week Monday, 18 June 2018.  You can imagine the endless frustration!

If I switch  the router on the lights go on, but I have no wireless internet connectivity unless I plug the cable in.

I received an sms from Afrihost saying that the fibre connectivity has been restored with Vumatel (Saturday), but its still not working.  I have logged endless support tickets, but no one comes back with an answer or a solution either.

In extreme cases it can take up to 48 hours, but this is highly unlikely. Should you have trouble connecting after 30 minutes, please reboot your device and try to connect again. If the mode light remains red please check your area coverage on the map (https://www.afrihost.com/landing/rain_fixed_wireless/#fixed-wireless-availability) If the area is FULLY covered, please enable roaming on the device by following these steps:

1. Log into the router.

2. Click on the “Settings” tab on top.

3. Traverse to “Dial-Up and then “Connect”.

4. Select the Enable radio-button

5.Restart the router by going to System -> Restart
