The problem that you are having is probably related to the new FileZilla update. The version of filezilla which I had (V220.127.116.11) was set to connect via,"PLAIN FTP" by default so were all the previous versions of filezilla. This all changed with version 3.10.0 and the latter. The new versions are set to connect via,"FTP over TLS" which is proving to be a problem with some of our servers.
To resolve the issue kindly follow the below steps:
On filezilla click,"File" then
Click Site manager
Then add the domain and fill in the information needed. NB!!! Under Encryption select,"Only use plain ftp (insecure).
Make sure you have the correct username and password. You can test them by loggin into cPanel.
After this you should be able to connect. Your response will look have the below response.
