When there is a mismatch between the agent’s public key, and the server’s stored public key for that agent, the agent will reject the server, and the backup server will not be able to access the agent. To resolve this you would follow the below steps.:
- Log in to your backup solution.
- Click on Protected Machines.
- Select the Actions Drop-Down, and click on Edit Protected Machine.
- Click on the reset Public Key button.
Once the key has been reset, you should be able to process the backups.
