There are not much things to dislike when visiting the UAE as a tourist, to be honest. Prior to settling here, I visited UAE as a tourist and saw the country with a tourist mindset and I would say, I really liked the country. However, there are quite a number of things tourists would dislike when coming to the country, and that would highly correlate to WHEN they will come to the country.
One of the most obvious downside of the UAE is that it is a country in a desert, which means IT IS HOT. And not just Florida hot, I am talking SAUNA hot. Yes, the kind of hot that after 5 minutes of walking, you will suffocated. The kind of humidity that sometimes it’s so hot, your body cannot sweat because it dries it up. I have seen backpackers coming to Dubai on July and man, they complain it’s hot. Of course it’s hot, it’s summer for Christ’s sake. Prices are down the drain from June - September because it is summer and for that reason, nobody wants to walk around and see the sights. So to save you all that hassle, come during November - March, that way, weather is as cool as California spring
