Your SMTP server is set to go through a specific connection and when that changes your mail cannot find the server.
I will give you steps as to how to resolve this, please follow the steps below:
1. Open your outlook mail client and click on
File->Account Settings->then account settings again
2. It will open up a dialogue box which shows your email accounts
-> select your e-mail account and click on change just above that
3. When the next box opens up change your pop and SMTP settings to mail.domain.co.za (this depends on your mail address, so if your mail is firstname.lastname@example.org then the server settings would be mail.afrihost.co.za)
4. After that click on more settings
->click on outgoing server-> then highlight the first option that says my server requires authentication, and click on the first one after that which says use the same settings as my incoming server
After this close all dialogue boxes and try to send/receive again to see if it works.
