Hi.

i am moving to a new place and there is already a Telkom voice line active, will it be possible to move my Afrihost account over to the new voice line?

Good Day

It is possible to move your Afrihost account over to the new voice line, but we suggest that you follow the relocation process below.

In order for your DSL line to be moved to your new address, you will need to request the address change in Client Zone, and then fill out the relocation via Telkom directly.

For your convenience, I have put together some steps to ensure that the line relocation is processed smoothly with the links to Telkom provided:)

Step A - Fill in the details of your relocation if for the current DSL line in client zone.
1) Click on Connectivity
2) Click on your DSL line
3) Click on Relocate Line
4) Fill in all the necessary details, and submit.

Step B - You will be sent a link by our systems which you will be prompted to fill in on Telkom's side. Below you will see the necessary details you will need to enter on this form.
1) Voice Line Account Holder details.
2) Phone number to be relocated/moved to the new premises.
3) Relocation physical address.
4) (End Date) When would you like the ADSL service to be discontinued at your old premises?
5) (Required Date) When you need your ADSL service to be reconnected at your new premises?

Step C - http://openserve.co.za/move-line-openserve/ Once you have completed the online OpenServe relocation form; you will be issued a Reference Number.

Step D - OpenServe will contact you to confirm the relocation details within 24 to 48 hours after you have submitted the form.

Step E - Once you have received the new line number and the details on when it will be active, you finalize the relocation of your line in Client Zone:)

By completing the above easy steps, the process of the line relocation will be simple and easy, and automatically activate your new DSL line with DSL services, and ensure Afrihost retains management of your DSL management and services:)
