Good day

I have a modem, but dont have a landline or internet contract. I am interested in uncapped contract, but not sure how it works. Do I need a landline and so on? Can I havea deal without using a landline? Please advise on a afforadable deal of about not more that R 400 please.

Thank you very much

Good Day,

If your modem is wan enabled, then you can have fibre, provided you have coverage in your area and it will depend on which provider is available to determine the costs for speed.

please follow the steps below to check if Fibre is available in your area:

  • Go to the Fibre Availability Map on the Afrihost Fibre microsite.
  • Enter the address where you’d like Fibre to be installed.
  • Click on the ‘Check Fibre Availability’ button.
    • If Fibre is available in your area
You will be presented with all available providers and their packages. You can then choose your experience, connection speed and sign up for Fibre.
    • If Fibre is not available in your area
You will be presented with an Interest Form. Enter your details and click on the ‘Notify Me’ button. We’ll let you know as soon as Fibre becomes available in your area.

Please follow the link below for our uncapped Fibre packages:

You can also have Fixed Wireless internet, you can check if you have  Fixed Wireless coverage in your area by using our Fixed Wireless Internet Coverage map on the Fixed Wireless microsite.
