to change DSL line speed I don't have the option to use the existing line but asked to register a new line

when I try to change my DSL line speed on clientzone I am not given the option to use the existing line but prompted to register a new line; yet when it comes to proceeding it won't allow this as it says the line number already exists on their system - any ideas? Do I need to get Telkom to do this?

Good Day,

  • Log into client zone
  • Select Connectivity
  • Select your DSl Line on the Bottom Right
  • Select Change Package
  • Choose the desired new product speed.

Package changes are not immediate but are processed within 48 hours.

It can take up to 10 working days for changes to your line speed to become effective

Please also check availible maximum speed availible on your line.
