Unknown telephone number on my DSL Access logs, how to prevent this?

I have noticed an unknown number on my DSL access log, this is the second time I have noticed this. I have not given out my access details, so I cannot understand how it is possible.

I did notice that the IP that was allocated looks completely different from the normal IP.

Please change your password on your router as well as ClientZone.

You can easily change your password in ClientZone by following the instructions below:

  1. Log into ClientZone.
  2. Click on the ‘My Account’ tab.
  3. Click on the ‘Access Details’ button under the Preferences sidebar.
  4. In the Update ClientZone Password section, enter your new password and confirm your new password.
  5. Click on the ‘Change’ button to save your new password.

TO CHANGE ROUTER PASSWORD: 

Make sure you're connected to the internet  

  • You need to access your router to change the password 

The quickest way to access your modem is through a web browser, eg: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari. 

Most routers/modems come with a manual specifying the IP address of the device allowing you to connect to it. 

 
Most routers use IP address: 

10.0.0.2 or 

192.168.0.1 or 

192.168.1.1 

but it's best to check the manual to be sure. 

  • Open a new web browser window. 

In the address bar, type 192.168.0.1 and press Enter. 

  • Select Change Wireless Password in the right-hand menu. Or select Wireless settings, Setup or Wireless depending on your router type. 

  • Enter the default router settings username and password in lowercase. 

Username: admin 

Password: admin or password 

If these login details don’t work you’ll need to reset your router.  

  • Enter the new Network Key (NEW wireless password) you want to use. 

  • Select Apply to save your new settings. 

Reconnect all your devices using your new wireless password.

Thanks but I know for a fact that I have not given out my password to anyone.

I see there is quite a few issues with your answer. First of all, I cannot change my password to something I want, I can reset the password but cannot choose my own password.

In your steps to update the password, you mention the wireless password, when updating the DSL password, I do not have to change my wireless password.
