How do I show my own video on a web page

0 votes

I am trying to have my own video being displayed via a webpage on my Website.

When I have a page opened is cPanel's Site Builder, I provide the URL of my Video (MP4) file stored on the host-server by working with the Widget "Video" as seen under Media.

It then returns a message "Incorrect Video URL"

When I provide a Youtube URL, then all is fine.

What must I do to have my own video being shown?

Hi Carl

Please recheck the URL,

  • Please make sure that URL name is not too long.
  • Kindly check video length
  • file size and format
  • Upload Video via FTP and copy and use uploaded link
  • Try an alternative browser.

You need to insert the url of the video. I used to make my own video at video cut tool and then inserted it in my website. It isn't hard at all, you can also check some information about it in google.

I think you should convert your video first. Try this tool It's very simple and fast and works with all the popular platforms on the Internet. Once you've converted the video, you can post it on your page as your own.
