Fibre issue with migration from SkiFi to Afrihost for Upgrade of line

+1 vote

Please advise me as a customer where I can start with the process to migrate my fibre to Afrihost. My previous ISP said they released the line a week ago and now. Afrihost said they will be able to migrate the fibre if I could send them supporting documents (Cancellation Docs). I'm now concerned as my last conversation with Afrihost is that I need to contact my Fibre Provider. This is a problem, as the Provider is OpenServe, we clients cannot contact them directly. How would I go about to help in this process?

Good Day,

In order to successfully migrate your Fibre to Afrihost, you will need to process what we call a Fibre Migration.

Cancel with your current Service Provider

You will need to notify your current ISP and cancel your current services with them. Your ISP and all other ISPs require a 30 day notice period. You may be charged a cancellation/migration fee if applicable.

Once you have been released by your ISP, you can sign up with Afrihost.

Please note

Cancellation Fee: Should you cancel your Afrihost Fibre less than 6 months from installation, or your account falls into arrears, you will be charged a cancellation fee of R999.
