How long does it take to deactivate my ADSL line once I have chosen to do so online?

I am going to be changing my internet provider and want to proceed with the cancellation of my afrihost line.  How long will it take to deactivate once I have chosen that option?

We will be very sad to see you leave us, but understand if you must. A 30 day notice period is required

REMEMBER - You will have to cancel the voice portion of your line directly with Telkom. Afrihost cannot do this on your behalf.
