Please help with fibre

I recently moved house into a fibre available area and had decided to order the 20mb down and 10mb up package. I finished the ordering process and realised that there was already a fibre line in the house. So I thought that it just needed an activation and a router and tried getting help through WhatsApp and a Call me back so I could get clarification about this, but that was to no avail. After I had paid, Vuma reach SMSed me that there was no fibre available in my area and that I would have to wait for an extra 2-6 months for the infrastructure to finish and therefore Afrihost put me on the preorder list as a result. This confused me because not only did other Internet provider websites say that fibre was available in my area, there was also a visible fibre wire in my house. What should I do now?

It could be that the Fibre Provider that has already installed Fibre in you area is different to Vuma reach.  Suggest find out which Fibre providers have already laid cable on your area, then select that Fibre provider when ordering with your ISP.  You should be able to cancel your existing order (depends on your ISP) Be careful though, some Fibre providers indicate that their Fibre is available is your area even though its on pre-order and cable still needs to be laid down.
