I need assistance updating my MX and A records on Cloudflare

Recently changed my dns records to be hosted by cloudflare. Loading speeds on my site are incredible.

Didn't realize this also affects email - I cannot send and receive. Contacted afrihost but the guy answered me by saying this:

Please change your mail records on cloudflare as follows:
MX record: mail.mydomainname.co.za
A record for mail: mail.mydomainname.co.za - not mx1982349.spe.ucebox.co.za

The problem is:

1. The instructions are very vague.

2. mx1982349.spe.ucebox.co.za does not appear in cloudflare as an A record. It appears as an MX record.

Can someone provide clear step by step instructions on what records I need to change, each heading and the choice to be selected or typed (everything including priority and TTL settings). Even if it's a screenshot of what it's supposed to be that will be really helpful coz I'll match it with my info. Thanks very much.

Hello nirakov,

Not sure if you got this sorted, but yea, the answers are quite vague.

I got it sorted by adding two records in my Cloudflare account. Hope this helps you out.
