Hi there!

I am not sure which connectivity service you are specifically referring to. However in terms of;

  • ADSL/Pure DSL - All Afrihost Capped accounts allow for up to 6 concurrent connections at any given time. Uncapped accounts allow for 1 concurrent connection so this means you can only use 1 router per account at any given address.
  • Fibre - Only allows 1 concurrent connecttion per username so you cannot use an additional router at a separate address as the address might also have a different last mile provider.
  • Fixed LTE - This service is sim card dependant. If you opt for the Pure LTE which is on the MTN network, the service will be locked to 1 specific location and can only be used in that vicinity. If you opt for the Telkom LTE, you can travel with the router and sim and use it wherever you go provided there is Telkom LTE coverage. It is also possible for you to use your Telkom sim on a different LTE router.

I hope this answered your question :)
