I have a Huawei box + 1 Afrihost sim + laptop + your instructions and I still cannot connect.

I am sitting overseas and have now spent hours this evening on the phone with a family member in South Africa trying to get our new laptop connected to the Internet -- we have now given up for the day.


I purchased a Huwaei Box + Lenovo Laptop + I recieved 1 Data sim card from Afrihost.. I believe we have followed all the instructions, however we are not able to connect>

On the back of the Huwei box we have a username, password and the encryption key -- and we have entered all these...

Thanks. relieved to report that a few more hours on the phone and we are set up. thank g' for Skype:-)

You say that you are overseas and you are not able to connect. Our data services are only available in the Republic of South Africa, where we have coverage. International Roaming will not be possible. This is the main reason why you are not able to connect.

You have misunderstood my comment. The Laptop is in Potchefstroom. I am overseas.
