If you are simply moving content from an old URL to a new URL, you can simply make a backup of the content and copy this across to your new hosting space using FTP or using a cPanel backup. You may also want to consider redirecting the old URL to the new one, to ensure that any traffic from your old site does not get lost.

Moving the content will depend on the content management system you're using, like Wordpress or Joomla, which will have a recommended process for backing up and restoring the content on the new hosted space.

Do you have any details you can share so we can give you more specific help with this?

Well there are several factors that affects while transferring whole site from one domain to another. First thing you will have to determine which kind of policy your host gives to you. It may vary in Joomla, wordpress, php etc.

You can copy entire files, all subdirectories and images along with backup of control panel setting to your new domain. It is quite simple if your domain exists within same host server but little bit complex if it doesn’t. 301-redirect is also another way to do this, but it will redirect the visitor to your new domain name while he searches for older.
