Hi there

Please have a look at the below steps on how to configure your email account.

IMAP

Incoming Mail Server: mail.domainname.tld or dslmail.afrihost.co.za
Port: 143 or 993 (this should be automatically populated if you tick the SSL Encryption)

SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)

Username: your email address including the @domainname.tld or @afrihost.co.za part

Password: your email password or DSL password for the @afrihost.co.za email.

Please do NOT enable "secure password authentication" (SPA). It's not needed when you use SSL encryption and won't work.

If your IMAP client supports it, we recommend you also set up the following folders:

    Trash
    Sent Items
    Drafts

POP3

Server: mail.domainname.tld or dlsmail.afrihost.co.za

Port: 110 0r 995 (this should be automatically populated if you tick SSL Encryption)

SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)

Username: your email address including the @domainname.tld or @afrihost.co.za part

Password: your email or DSL password

POP from folder: By default, POP will pull emails from your Inbox

SMTP

Outgoing Mail Server: mail.btinternet.com or smtp.afrihost.co.za

Port: 25, 587 or 465 (for 465 this may not be automatically populated on selection of SSL, so you'll need to check this)

SSL Encryption: Enabled (but not STARTTLS)

Authentication: For ISP SMTP no autentication required. For mail.domainname.tld (Use same settings as your incoming mail server).

Username: With most mail client you don't need to fill this part in. ISP's SMTP no authentication is required.
Password: Leave empty
