How do I change my password for the modem

+3 votes
While browsing your website, I had the opportunity to change my password - I think it was related to my Mailbox (which I have not actually set yet), and I saw a message on the screen briefly that said that I would have to change my password on the modem to continue receiving internet connectivity.    That was on Friday, and today, I seem to not be able to connect to the internet.    I am presently using 3G.

If you change your ADSL account password, then your modem has to be told about the new password.  If you don't tell your ADSL modem about the new password, then it is going to be told "go away horrible impostor, you are not the real ST".  You can either log in to the modem and set the new password, or you can go to clientzone, and change the password back to the old password.  If you don't know the old password, you don't have that option smiley
