I was given a password by Afrihost but for what ??? It was SMS to me with my user name but it is useless if I try to attach my tablet at e to my wi-fi. WHY? It all worked perfectly before with the previous service provider and I was able to open wi-fi  inputing my D-link wireless key. This one doesnt work now anymore on tablet ? what to do ? This is extremely frustrating that nothing works properly in this country !

The username and password is most likely for you to set up your router with in order to connect to their service.  You will have to log into the router and set it up (ask their helpdesk to assist you).  Once done, you should only need a password (the D-Link one) to connect to your WiFi if it is setup to prompt for one.

Remember that the password we provide you with is for your router to access our DSL network. This will not affect the setup for your local WiFi network, so the password you used to use to connect to the WiFi should still be the same.

You can also change the settings of the WiFi network on the router if you prefer to use the same password to make it easier to remember (but using one password for everything is generally a bad idea for security purposes).
