Setting up your mail account should be very similar to using any client, such as Outlook or Thunderbird. As long as you have the basic settings:

1. Username and password for your mailbox.

2. Incoming mail server (Usually mail.yourdomain.co.za on port 110)

3. Outgoing Mail server (usually smtp.afrihost.co.za on port 25 if you are using Afrihost ADSL. If you have a different ISP, you can use their outgoing mail server settings). Authentication should be turned off (i.e. sending mail should not require a password)

If you are using any variations, like SSL encryption then your settings may differ.

Check out these guides for Outlook and Thunderbird, they may help you through the steps :)
