MySQL issues

I have a self-managed server running mysql. Sometimes i feel that mysql slows down the server but i have no clue what to do with it. How do you restart mysql on an ubuntu server?

Run the below commans on the servers terminal.

1. Service mysql restart, and if that does not help:

2. /etc/init.d/mysql resart
