Does the "Fix my ADSL line"  button in the Mobile ClientZone app actually do anything?

As far as I'm aware it does not due to Telkom's new Portal.

It usually sets your line to the most stable line sync and then resets the port.

However, Telkom has implemented a new system which dynamically sets the line sync profile at the BRAS (on the Telkom's network) and our access to set line sync profiles is currently not available while Telkom update their systems and access for ISP's to reset line sync profiles again. We are not sure exactly how the new system will work and whether the new BNG (broadband network gateway) infrastructure wlll allow those changes to remain permanent.
